About concert

For his guest performance in Berlin, Makoto Ozone will ignite an energetic keyboard fireworks display with Gershwin's “Rhapsody in Blue” together with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra – a combination of jazz and classical music that seems almost programmatic in his biography. The concert will be complemented by Bernstein's “Symphonic Dances” from “West Side Story” and excerpts from Prokofiev's “Romeo and Juliet” suites – works that impressively showcase the multifaceted sound spectrum of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, founded in 1911.

Discover Berlin

  • What's interesting in Berlin?

They say that in Berlin, wherever they stick a finger, everything is cool. And museums, and friendly people, the diversity of cultures and just the beauty of the city itself. Those who were there for three days, they say they saw three percent. Its scale strikes from the first step, so do not hesitate to choose a date - feel free to give yourself a few extra days for long walks with the camera turned on and techno parties.
